China is requiring pig slaughterhouses to conduct self-checks monitored by veterinarians to curb the spread of African swine fever (ASF), according to a statement from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Monday. More Than 56 Tons of Beef Recalled for E. Coli

The finding of an E. coli O103 contamination has forced K2D Foods’ Colorado Premium Foods to recall more than 113,000 lb. of ground beef and may be related to an outbreak that has sickened 156 people.
